Himalaya

Short film

Back in 2022, I spent three months journeying through the mountain regions of India and Nepal. The landscapes, cultures and people were awe inspiring and affected me deeply. Himalaya is an effort to share that experience
through film.

I wanted the film to communicate the layered and intangible feelings in every place, person and interaction. The shot selection, pacing, music and visual story all work to create a dense and emotional piece with a more abstract approach - leaving it to the viewer to develop deeper feelings of their own without being guided by a specific narrative.
